The last ODI of the seven match ODI series will be played tomorrow at Mumbai. Australia have already got their hands onto the Future cup trophy as they are having an invincible lead of 4-1. India have not chance of winning the series whatsoever even if they win the match tomorrow.
But, India still will work quite hard to minimize the gap and they would be willing to make it 4-2. If India wins tomorrow, that would give them a morale boost, which surely will help them into the Icc world twenty20 match scheduled on 20th Oct’ 07 at Mumbai.
ODI champs played superb throughout the series and it could have been 5-1 to champs if the first match had not been called-off due to bad weather.
India, on the other hand will have to re-look their strategy as they are going against their greatest rival Pakistan from next month onwards.
Aussie captain Ricky ponting looked satisfied with what they played throughout the series whereas, Indian captain MS Dhoni looked crossed and was willing to improve their game quickly.
A large crowd is expected to attend tomorrow’s match despite of India’s early loss in the series.
