Two matches of the Future cup between India and Australia have been played. So far, Australia is leading the series by 1-0.
Third ODI of this Future cup will be played tomorrow (Friday) at Hyderabad. There is one good news for the aussie camp that Ricky Ponting will make the return back to the ODI side and will captain the 3rd ODI. Ponting didn’t make it into the first two ODIs of the series due to a hamstring injury which he suffered during Pakistan Vs Australia T20 match.
Left-arm seamer Nathen Bracken is also expected to return back to the side after having a leave to attend the birth of his child.
Whereas, If we talk about the Indian side, Sourav Gangluy’s selection is still unsure. He will have to pass fitness test in order to be considered for the third ODI.
The start of the third game has been spiced up by Indian Spinner Harbhajan and Aussie all-rounder Andren Symond’s comments who accused each other’s teams for arrogance and use of Vulgar Langauge.
“They are very bad losers,” Harbhajan said.
Symonds responded: “If you get an edge over them it starts to eat into them mentally.
So now, its looking more of a personal fight rather than playing with a game and sportsmen spirit.
